...I am a strong believer in utilizing technology to enhance the optometric experience for both my patients and myself. Technology I added over the years ago significantly changed my practice for the positive. Among the many items I have added is the digital refraction system by Veatch Ophthalmic Instruments. This suite of instruments comprised of an auto lensmeter, aberrometer, digital refractor and visual acuity system. My practice benefited from the increased efficiency these technologies brought to the examination process. By automating the collection of the screening data and automatically having the..data uploaded into the digital refractor, I saved several minutes per exam. In addition, I now have more valuable face time to interact with the patient and I am definitely not as fatigued at the end of the day as I was with my manual refractor.
